When Sarah & Dalia invited us down to Miami to shoot their engagement session, I knew we’d have loads of fun. These two ladies are like refreshing Mimosas during brunch. You’ve just got to have them, as friends that is! And with there being so many similarities between us (we both own crazy kitties) we hit it off right away. Sarah initially thought she was no America’s Next Top Model, but we proved her wrong 🙂
With their love for both community and the arts, Sarah & Dalia settled on a hipster theme for their engagement session. I could only say great minds think alike when we immediately selected the Wynwood Walls as the perfect setting. The Wynwood Walls are located in Wynwood, Miami’s warehouse district. Developed as a way to revitalize the warehouse district, the Wynwood Walls are now home to the greatest street art ever. Now, artists from around the world travel to feature their art on the giant warehouse canvases. Who wouldn’t want these masterpieces to be apart of their engagement session. I would!
We started the session driving around Wynwood selecting the couples favorite walls. It was like being kids in an “art” candy store. There was everything from Krusty the clown to Deadpool skillfully displayed on each wall. However, one of the couple’s favorite walls “Bob Marley’s – Love is me” easily became one of our favorites too.
As we wondered through the colorful streets and beautiful weather of Miami, we ended our time with a sunset session on South Beach. That couldn’t have been more perfect. Beautiful white sand, rolling turquoise waters, and a golden sunset illuminated this couples love. Sarah & Dalia snuggled, smooched, and danced in the sand and surf (even making time to climb a log) which made for a perfect end to their perfect beginning.
If you enjoyed hanging out with Sarah & Dalia, you’ll love this next one as well. So, feel free to put your feet up and stick around for a while. Until next time my friends!
