If you follow me, you know that Janet and Brian are no strangers to being in front of the camera. These two love birds are always up for striking a pose when the time permits. So, they were super excited when I suggested the idea of an in home couples session for their annual portraits.
Janet and Brian’s cozy Philadelphia apartment was the perfect back drop to showcase a different side of their love story. During the week, one of Janet and Brian’s favorite things to do is spend a cozy evening at home cuddling with their two adorable fur babies Tank and Bruno. Yep, that’s right, the two cutest Boston Terriers in the Northeast 🙂 . When they’re not curled up on their comfy couch watching sports for Brian or Friends for Janet, they’re hosting a rowdy game night with family and friends. Therefore, it was only natural that we captured these two in the beautiful home that they’ve created together.
As we spent the day with Janet and Brian, we were truly able to capture the essence of their personalities. Janet’s love for music brought smooth tunes to the session, as Taylor Swift’s Reputation played on vinyl. And Brian, who attended West Chester University, and is a lover of all things football displayed his hidden talent for flipping a football using one hand for us. Consequently, this display of pure talent may have resulted in a run away football. 😀
How adorable are these two? Several times during the session, we joked that Brian + Janet looked like an all american couple. Don’t they? Move over John and Jackie Kennedy, these two are America’s new sweethearts 🙂
In conclusion, this in home couples session has to be one of my all time favorite sessions, due to it’s simplicity and romantics. What do you think? Tell me below. Have you and your significant other ever considered an in home couples session for portraits? Most of all, if you enjoyed this post be sure to check out this artistic Wynwood Walls Engagement session.
