There is no funner couple to wonder around Old City with than these two college sweethearts. Katie and Raymond are like Buffalo Chicken Dip and Parties. They just go together! These two kids met at LaSalle University, 2 years ago, and have been together ever since. Katie studies Math and plans to teach it on the Elementary level, and Ray plans on taking over the world his studies in Business. When Katie contacted me to take their 2 year anniversary portraits, I was in there like swimwear.
We began our session with a stroll down Race Street Pier, on the Delaware River, which was the perfect location. The Race Street Pier was the best of both worlds for Katie, who is from Delaware, and Ray, who hails from Philly through and through. Though the day was a beautiful one, we had to get creative, because the wind decided it wanted to dance that morning.
Next stop on our Old City adventure was a visit to our nation’s oldest residential street. Surprisingly, neither Katie or Ray had visited this hidden Philly gem before. So, this made for both a great portrait location and history lesson all wrapped up in one. As we wondered down Elferth’s Alley, both Katie and I fell in love with the charming doors. While Ray found some playtime with a friendly neighborhood Old City Kitty.
You can check out a few photos from Katie and Raymond’s couple session below. If you enjoyed this session, I know you’ll love this one as well. So, feel free to put your feet up and stick around for a while. Until next time my friend!
